Summer updates
Dear MRCS Families,
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer and finding time to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories with your family. As we begin looking ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, I wanted to share a few important updates and reminders.
First, thank you for your continued partnership and support of Montessori Regional Charter School. The strength of our school community comes from the collaboration between our families, students, and staff. We are grateful for the trust you place in us and remain committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for every child.
We are excited to welcome families back for Meet the Teacher Night on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This event provides students and families with an opportunity to meet their teachers, visit classrooms, and begin building the connections that help make each school year successful. You will also hear about Science of Literacy and the team teaching that will take place for the language arts program.
The first day of school is Wednesday, August 26, 2026, and our staff is eagerly preparing to welcome students back to campus. To help ensure a smooth start to the year, please complete the Transportation Choice Survey in ParentSquare as soon as possible, but no later than August 1. Accurate transportation information allows us to coordinate student arrival and dismissal procedures effectively.
A variety of resources are available on our website to support students and families throughout the school year. Included with this letter is a copy of the 2026–2027 School Calendar, which is also available on our website under the Family Center section. We encourage families to review the calendar and keep it handy throughout the year.
The beginning of a new school year is always an exciting time filled with opportunities for growth, discovery, and achievement. Our dedicated staff is committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child is known, valued, challenged, and supported.
